Our Admission Process / Policies

Starling school has a class size of twenty (20) pupils. Children are admitted between the ages of 1 - 11 years to our Nursery and Primary School. Children who seek admission into the school should be one year old at the beginning of the new session in September for Early Impression Class, two years old for Play Group class, three years old for Nursery 1 and four Years old for Reception class.

The primary school admits from ages five to eleven years depending on children's respective ability and requirements. Children seeking admission into the school must attain the right age for the class by August 31st of the year of admission.

Admission Forms

Admission forms could be purchased both at the school premises or request for an Online Admission form on this page. There will be a pre-admission interview (written or oral as the case may be) between parents, intending pupil(s) and the head teacher, subsequent to the completion and return of purchased admission form.

Admission letters will be sent out to qualified pupil(s).

Letter of Acceptance

Acceptance letters must be returned a month before the beginning of the session. (This is essential for adequate preparation for our intakes.) Payment of all fees must be made before the first day of the new session and subsequent terms. A term's notice of the withdrawal of a child must be given in writing or a term's fees payable in lieu. When pupils meet the admission requirements and there are no openings available, the applications will be placed on a waiting list in a chronological order according to the date of placement on the list.

Parents will be contacted as soon as a space is available and will have one week to accept the offer by paying the non-refundable joining fee.
