HAVING DIFFICULTIES TAKING YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL EARLY? #starlingschool

Have you ever wondered why being late to school is a serious problem for some people? The truth of the matter is that, all that you have to do is to take a few simple steps to make sure you prepare your child and leave for school on time. Here are some tips to help you accomplish this.

Prepare the Night Before

The best thing to do is to plan ahead the night before. Have all the supplies together and ready to go. Know what you are going to wear and have them set already to make your work easy. Place your keys, wallet, cell phone etc. in the right and easy to reach spot as you dash out the door. You should try to limit the tasks you have to handle in the mornings. Get most them done the night before.

Set Your Alarm

Always have your alarm set at the right time to get out of bed. Try not to flip the snooze switch whenever your alarm clock starts buzzing. You could end up falling asleep, losing track of time and ultimately missing the main goal, which is “NOT TO BE LATE”. You would want to have a few extra minutes of sleep, but that wouldn’t make any difference. Always set your clock 10 minutes ahead of the time you intend waking up. This simple step may seem small, but psychologically it makes you feel like you have 10 extra minutes than you really do. This also shows that you are making a commitment toward being on time.

Go to bed early enough

Try not to stay awake all night watching a movie or doing something else that would make waking up early a hard task. The later you stay awake, the more you risk being late the next morning.

Make a Commitment to Always Be On Time

Being on time creates a well-organized and stress-free morning along with a smile that will last the rest of the day. Take out time to discipline yourself in this area. Commit towards constructing a change. Arriving to school early shouldn’t be one of your priorities rather, make it your top priority.
